Body modification, as y’all know is the term used the deliberate altering of the human body. Tattoos and piercings are the major body modifications one undergoes for all good reasons; one being the craze to stand apart from the crowd. There are indeed great tattoo freaks who love getting etched.
In my peer group too there are many tattoo fanatics who simply wish they could wear a nice tattoo of their choice but what stops them to take a step forward is the fear of pain and the dilemma whether it would look nice or not.
Well, this is the story of just few tattoo lovers but look around and you will find many already wearing one or miscellaneous tattoos. It’s their immense craze for body modification that doesn’t stop them and they just go about getting etched or pierced.

Erik Sprague, well known by the name of ‘The Lizardman’ was born on June 12, 1972, Fort Campbell, KY. He is a freak show and sideshow performer and is best known for his body modification including his sharpened teeth, full-body tattoo of green scales, bifurcated tongue, subdermal implants and green-inked lips.
Dennis Avner: Catman
Dennis Avner born on August 27, 1958 widely known as Cat Man tests the limits of extreme body modification. He has spent considerable resources to surgically modify his body to resemble that of a tiger. He prefers to be called by his Native American name-Stalking Cat. He holds the world record for the most body modifications.
Etienne Dumont: Living art
Etienne Dumont is a tattoo freak who has tattoos from head to toe with the silicone implants on his head that give that extra special touch. He has plexiglas piercings on the nose and under the lower lip; a titanium ring on the left hand; rings of 70-mm (2.7 inches) of diameter on the earlobes. Also, he has two horns on his head.

Julia Gnuse: The Illustrated Lady
Julia Gnuse commonly known by the nickname ‘The Illustrated Lady’ was born in 1959. She has 95% of her body (including her face) covered in tattoos and holds the Guinness Record for being the most tattooed woman in the world. When she was in her mid 30s, she developed porphyria-a condition in which sunlight results in blistering of the skin. To cover her scars she started getting tattoos.

Katzen, well known as the Tiger Lady is a bodily modified female performance artist and tattoo artist who has her full body tattoo theme of a tiger. She has extensive tattooing on all parts of her body and wears tiger whiskers attached via piercings on her face. She is the ex-wife of “The Enigma”.
